St. Edwards PEC
In 2007 and 2008, St. Edwards Professional Education Center had a course called "Mastering AJAX for ASP.NET" that they offered to working professionals who needed to acquire this new skill. They had a contract with Dell who wanted their Sr. Engineers to know this new technology. They needed a skilled and trained instructor to deliver this class in a three-day boot-camp format to these engineers.
The University needed a resource to manage and train a class of professionals in this new technology. The classroom was a computer lab with the needed software (Visual Studio 2005, and SQL Server 2005). The training material, would be provided by Pearson's, Inc a major publisher of US based college text books. Also, there would be pre- and post test and certificates of completion and competency issued from the University to the students prior at the end of day three.
A Cognitive Generation Enterprise consultant worked with St. Edwards and Dell and delivered a 3 day boot-camp in Austin, TX from 2007 to mid-2008. Each class was between 15-25 students and with 100% success rate. Instructor evaluations left our consultant with an approval rating of over 80%.
